Digital Advertising

The advertising world has changed

…and is constantly being re-defined

Advertisements were once linear modes of communication: they went out with the hope that they would bring in new customers. This is no longer the norm. Advertising options are more complex now. The industry is being completely reworked and remade from what was once a hit-or-miss “just stay visible” strategy into an interactive approach.

What’s propelling this revolution? The Digital and Social Age. Being “digital” means so much more than simply having a website presence these days. Integration and advances in technology are infusing themselves everywhere, including traditional marketing channels. Advertising was once the only tool for buying market to stay informed about a business, the market can now inform themselves and are therefore more aware of advertising as blatant self-promotion. Because of this shift, advertising has to offer more than just information – prices, dates, promotions, products, etc – it needs to offer value. That value could be convenience, timeliness, performing necessary functions, being a cool tool, or supplying knowledge (a more in-depth approach to information).

We have many exciting avenues in which your business can capitalize on the digital advertising transformation. This includes, but is not limited to:

Search Engine Marketing

Much like Search Engine Optimization, this is the paid channel for businesses to have high visibility on search engines and across networks of news and blog sites. We promote your ability to be seen widely through paid placement, contextual advertising, and paid inclusion.

Social Media Marketing

Social media advertising is a great way to promote certain kinds of businesses or events. With sites such as Facebook, you can target specific kinds of people based on their specific interests or experiences or preferences directly, and do so at an affordable rate.

QR Codes

This is an exciting new technology that has been made available with smart phones. QR codes are two dimensional barcodes that can be read by a simple camera click on a smart phone. These codes can contain a host of electronic information and can be placed anywhere a smart phone can find them (print ads, signs, t-shirts, walls, billboards, etc)

Cross Media Campaigns

We still incorporate the use of traditional print media, but with a twist. We link print mailers to a qualified mailing list with URL and personalized URL links (pURLs). These URLs and pURLs direct respondents to a website that integrates directly with the mailed campaign. The beauty of cross-media campaigns is that they are highly trackable and much more effective than other print media.
